The agreement
These terms govern your use of the Glyde mobile app and the website at glyde.properties, operated by Glyde Properties LLC ("Glyde", "we", "us"). By using Glyde you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
What Glyde is
Glyde helps you find rental homes in the UK. It gathers listings, understands what you ask for by voice or text, and shows homes that match. Glyde is a search and discovery tool. We are not a letting agent, landlord or guarantor, and we are not a party to any tenancy.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16 and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Glyde.
Your account
- Keep your sign in details private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information in your account and tenant profile.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Profile, then Delete account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.
Listings and agents
Listings come from third parties, including letting agents and property platforms. We work to keep them accurate, but we can't guarantee that any home is available, correctly described or in the condition shown. Always confirm details with the agent or landlord. Any rental agreement is between you and them.
When you register interest in a home, we pass the details needed for the agent to contact you. How an agent handles your enquiry is their responsibility.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Glyde for anything unlawful, harmful or fraudulent.
- Scrape, copy, reverse engineer or overload our systems.
- Give false information or impersonate someone else.
- Use voice or text search to send abusive or illegal content.
Intellectual property
The Glyde name, logo, software and content are owned by Glyde Properties LLC or its licensors. Listing content, including photographs, belongs to the agents and platforms that provide it.
Liability
Glyde is provided "as is". We don't promise that it will always be available, error free or that it will find you a home. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Glyde. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
Ending your use
You can stop using Glyde and delete your account whenever you like. We may restrict or end access if these terms are broken. We may update these terms, and will change the date above when we do. If a change is significant, we'll tell account holders in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have to bring proceedings where you live.
